Through careful coordination of all these services Awetu strives to address the issues it was founded to tackle, and improve the lot of those in the BME community who suffer from mental health difficulties. Awetu’s role keeps us in constant contact with the varied communities these issues affect and this, as well as our continued efforts to aid and direct research in these areas, allows us to expand and adapt our portfolio of services to react to new issues without losing sight of our original objectives and the key goal of demystifying mental illness in and surrounding the BME community in Wales.
